Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING DOMESTIC

We ship to anywhere in the USA, including all territories, via UPS. Additional shipping charges may apply for deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, or Guam. UPS SurePost is available for free to the contiguous United States for orders over $50 that solely contain products manufactured by Slice Engineering. All shipping rates are auto-updated based on carrier published rates.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY

We now ship to over 30 countries via UPS: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Malaysia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and U.S. Outlying Islands. We do not offer discounted shipping for international orders. All shipping rates are auto-updated based on carrier published rates. Customers are responsible for customs and import duties into their country of residence (Incoterms DAP) unless selecting a shipping method that includes the upfront payment of duties and taxes (DDP). DDP check-out methods can be identified by the phrase "Duties & Taxes Included" in the shipping description.

PRODUCTS WITH LEAD TIME

The following items may have some lead time: Vanadium™ Nozzle - 1.8 mm, Industrial Heater - 50W / 24V, Custom Industrial Heater - 50W 24V / 300 mm / Bare Leads, Custom Industrial Heater - 50W 24V / 80 mm / JST XHP-2, Raise3D Pro2 Bundle - Copperhead, Modix Upgrade Kits, Mosquito Magnum+ Bundles/Kits containing 50W 24V Heaters

Orders including these items will be shipped out when they are available. If ordering any products with lead time or products on backorder/preorder, please note that any additional items in your order will be shipped with these products. If you need to order additional items and want them to arrive sooner, please make a separate order for those items.

CARRIER DELAYS

Despite our best efforts, shipping delays may occur with certain carriers, like USPS or UPS, and should be expected due to COVID-19. Although we offer a range of shipping options (including a free UPS option on certain orders), please keep this potential delay in mind as you choose your shipping option.

EXPECTED SHIPPING TIMES

As we have a small team, we work hard to get packages out on time. If you order before 11AM EST during the business week, you can expect your package to be shipped out that day. If you place an order after 11AM, your order will likely go out the next day.

Note: We do not ship on the weekends or holidays. If you place an order after 11AM on Friday, your order will likely not get shipped out until the following Monday.  

RETURNS & REFUNDS

We are proud of the things we make. An incredible amount of thought and sweat (and sometimes blood and tears!) goes into every design. All of our products carry a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. We will repair, replace, or refund any product that does not meet your satisfaction due to a manufacturing defect. Simply contact us with the reason for your dissatisfaction, and ship the product back to us at:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Returns can be initiated here.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 business days. Please Note: Refunds for items returned for reasons other than manufacturing defects and seller packaging mistakes will be subject to a restocking fee and not include the cost of shipping on the original order.  

All refunds due to reasons outside of manufacturing defects must be initiated within 30 days of the original purchase. Returns must meet the below conditions:


1. The product isn’t used or damaged
2. The product must be unopened and in the original packaging
3. You have proof of purchase directly from the Slice Engineering website
4. Return is pre-approved via the return form

Upon receipt of your item, as long as the above conditions are verified, the refund will be issued via the payment method with which your initial order was made minus the restocking fee. Please reach out to us directly before attempting to return any items that do not meet these conditions, as these will be subject to additional consideration at the discretion of Slice Engineering and possibly alternative refund methods, such as store credit or altered restocking fee.


Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet please follow these steps:
1. Check your bank account again
2. Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is posted.
3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@sliceengineering.com.

Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded. 

RESTOCKING FEES

Items returned for reasons other than manufacturing defects and seller packaging mistakes will be subject to a 10% restocking fee or a $5.00 USD flat fee (whichever is lower). The 10% restocking fee will be calculated based on the price paid by the customer at the time of purchase for the goods being returned (excluding tax and shipping costs).  Items approved for return by exception to the above reasons may be subject to a 5% restocking fee instead of the 10%, with no $5 lower option. Restocking fees will be deducted from the refund amount that will be returned to the customer after the return is complete.

RETURN SHIPPING FEES

For items that are returned due to manufacturing defects and seller packaging mistakes, Slice Engineering LLC. will pay and provide return labels to ship those items from the customer back to Slice Engineering LLC. 

If items are returned for any other reason, the customer is responsible for paying for the shipment of these items back to Slice Engineering LLC.

RETURNS/REFUNDS OF PRODUCTS PURCHASED THROUGH RESELLERS

Returns or refunds for products purchased through resellers must be pursued through the reseller. We cannot process returns or refunds for products not purchased directly from Slice Engineering.
